Solar current in Vizag...

Visakhapatnam, December 5, (way2newstv.in):The Maha Visakhapatnam Corporation (GVMC), which reduces the financial burden of regulating electricity expenses, is focusing on solar power generation in the future. After the Hoodud cyclone, the city has allocated 40% of the GVMC electricity generated by LED street lights. The proposals are aimed at boosting production, with a significant focus on the latest solar power generation. Nine MW solar power generation, which is already part of the SmartCity project, is being set up to finalize the tenders for the next three MW solar power generation. In the Smartcity project, Rs 58 crore will be spent on the power generation of nine MW. The newly proposed solar panels on the Mehradigade reservoir have been proposed to generate three megawatts of electricity and report accordingly. Officials claim that the solar panels floating on water will be beneficial in many aspects of the quality of electricity produced. Particularly in the city limits, solar panels are required to make space. But the availability of empty space in the city is not ashamed. In view of this, the solar panels were set up on reservoirs and canals. As part of this, it has decided to generate two megawatts of electricity by setting up solar panels in the Mudasaralla Reservoir. Thought. Power officials believe that the quality of power generated by floating solar panels on the water is good. Another five megawatts of solar power will be generated by setting solar panels on the canola. Apart from this, four megawatts of solar power is generated by setting up solar panels in the offices of GVMC offices and municipal schools. Solar power will be available within a few days' time of GMVC, official sources said.
