An emerging young badminton player Gayatri Pullell has deposited another title in his account. Krishna Khaitan, who finished on Sunday in Chandigarh, is the winner of Gayatri U-19 Girls Singles All India Junior Ranking Badminton Tournament. In the final, 14-year-old Gayatri won the top seed Purava Barve (Maharashtra) with 23-21, 21-18. In the under-19 boys' doubles final, Vishnu Vardhan and Srikrishna combined with Sanjay Srirupu (Pondicherry) and Siddharth (Telangana) with 18-21, 21-15, 21-13.In the 19th mixed doubles final, Srikrishna and Srikanth Jupudi (Telangana) duo 21-19, 21-15, won the Edwin-Nafisa (Kerala) pair. In the under-17 boys' doubles final, Bakhta Navneet-Vishnuvardhan (Telangana) pair lost to Edwin Joy-Arvind (Kerala) Jodi 20-22, 17-21 in runners-up.
