We are successfully implementing the Employment Guarantee Scheme in Telangana. Panchayati Raj and Rural Development Minister Jupally Krishna Rao said that we are carrying out a lot of activities aimed at providing employment to every worker.

He was present at the review meeting on the employment guarantee scheme in Hyderabad Tea Sipdad on Friday. Aparajitha Sarangi, Union Secretary of the Employees Guarantee, also attended this meeting. The minister said, besides employment funding, we are taking a high level of green garland with state government funds. We are setting up nurseries with women associations in every village. We are planning to introduce about 4,000 gram panchayats. We are designing a new Panchayati Raj Act to share everything in village development. The law is aimed at self-employment through this Act.
