CHANDRABABU MET WITH FORMER BRITISH PRIME MINISTER TONY BLAIR

AP CM Chandrababu Naidu, who was on tour in Singapore, had been meeting separately with former Prime Minister Tony Blair. There was a discussion on both bilateral issues. On this occasion Chandrababu invited Tony Blair to visit AP. Tony Blair was also interested in the AP tour. Tony Blair recalls his visit to Hyderabad, a village in Mahaboobnagar, along with Chandrababu, who was the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh for the first time. The Chief Minister asked Chandrababu about the new state. He said he knows the way the new state is being rebuilt under the leadership of Chandrababu. The Chief Minister explained to Tony Blair that the farmers had come forward to build a new capital and provide them with land in the equation.

The steps taken by the Andhra Pradesh government to attract investments, including the 15 per cent stability growth target for the next 15-20 years, has been shown to be the fastest in the AP in the field of fiber connectivity and food processing. Blair expressed the surprise of how it is possible to be active in Chandrababu politics for about 40 years since 1978.

Blair was told by Chandra Babu that the government has taken steps to include the realtime governance, comprehensively financial management system, power reforms, solar, wind power systems, hundreds of ODF, IOT, drones and technology.
