The new Panchayati Raj Act has not yet been approved. The generations of political parties will be taken into consideration.Election Commissioner Nagireddy held a meeting with all political parties regarding the gram panchayat elections in Telangana. The meeting held at the Election Commissioner's office in the Masab tank led by leaders of the TRS, Congress, BJP, TDP, CPI, CPM and other political parties expressed their opinions and objections. Political parties have referred to the commissioner whether the panchayat elections are held under the new law or not if it is under the old law. Leaders are suspected of holding elections to the newly-formed gram panchayats in the shortest period of time because of the elections in July. The electoral commissioner has also asked the electorate to be transparent. State Election Officer Nagireddy said that the political parties will be taken into consideration. Congress candidate Marri Shashidhar Reddy, CPI State Secretary Chada Venkat Reddy, TDP CM KCR and others participated in the meeting. Nagireddy spoke to the media on this occasion. The first phase of the voters list was discussed on publication. Panchayat elections are to be held in July. Said.
