The farmers who are planting tomato crop in the event that the 25-kg box is priced at just Rs 90 and Rs 100. But the same tomato is sold on the open market for up to ten rupees. But tomato cultivation trainers fail to deliver the price. Vegetable farmers want farmers to take measures to ensure minimum prices for vegetables in the market.

TRANSPORT COST DOES NOT COME TO TOMATO FARMERS

Farmers in the Veeralapalli village of Nandigama Mandal have cultivated a tomato crop in an acre. Tomato prices have fallen so far when it comes to tomato harvest. The farmers are keen to sell the price of Rs 90 to Rs 100 or Rs 30 a kg from 25 kg and 30 kg. The investments made for tomato cultivation will be completely borrowed, and the market is exposed to the price or harvest in the market. The price of tomatoes per 100 rupees at a time is currently reduced and the price of tomato in the market is Rs ten per kilo. There is no price in the market. I have planted a tomato crop in one acre. At present, the Shambhala market brings up boxes of up to 25 kgs and up to 100 rupees.

These are suitable for transport charges. It is difficult to invest in cultivation for crop cultivation. There is no minimum support price for the farmer in the market. There was a condition to leave the tomato without letting go. The market price should be paid in the market. Vegetables in the market are purchased and sold at high prices on the open market. Besides, the farmer wants to have a minimum support price in the market.
