The Telecom Department has made a sensational decision to provide more security to customers. Telecom companies have issued orders to provide 13 Digits mobile numbers to customers across the country. Users using a 10-digit number are already required to be portable on October 1 this year. Portability will expire on December 31. As of January 8, a senior official of the BSNN said that it has already begun their orders from the Telecom Department. "The Telecom Department has decided to implement the 13th MMM policy from July 1 this year.

All new mobile phone numbers from 13 to date will be 13 digits. Customers using the 10 digit number already have to switch to the new number from October 1 to December 31. "

Telecom major Bharti Airtel has confirmed the same. The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has written a written response to the spectrum, roaming and quotes on the machine to machine communications. The Telecom Department has approved the 13 digit numbering series for SIM-based M2M devices. It has revealed that there is a new numbering system that works with a 10 digit number already in use.
