The budget of the government for the 2017-18 fiscal year is Rs 49,000 crore. Now our state debt is literally Rs 48,000 crore. That is why the debt is even higher than the state budget. As a joint split in the joint state (June 2, 2104), the AP and Telangana debt stood at Rs 1,48,060.22 crore.
