CM KCR MEETING WITH UNION HOME MINISTER RAJNATH

Chief Minister Kolvakunta Chandrasekhar Rao met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh Monday afternoon. The new zonal policy discussed the issues of the re-division law with the Union Home Minister. The Cabinet has brought the Chief Minister's attention to the Cabinet decision to set up 7 Zones and 2 Multi Zones in the new state.

In the zone of operating systems in Joint Andhra Pradesh, all six zones, four in Andhra and 5,6 zones were in Telangana. After the Telangana state, the 10 districts were divided into 31 districts for administrative convenience.
