The CPM Polit Bureau members demanded the Railways to be allocated for Visakhapatnam by BV Raghavulu and CPI state secretary Ramakrishna. A special meeting was held on Wednesday at BVNC Gandhi statue seeking special railways. Speaking on the occasion, the Center said that the Center had promised to set up a railway zone at Visakhapatnam during the partition of the state and failed to implement it. CPI state secretary Ramakrishna said that the Government of Telangana has been completely unsuccessful in achieving special status, special package and railways. Asked for a state that was completely unjustified by division. CPM state executive members CH Narsingaravu, CPI state secretary JV Satyanarayana Murthy, CPM leaders K.Lokanatham and Dr. B. Gangarao participated in this event.
