The death toll in the forest fire in Thane district in Tamil Nadu has reached nine. Students who went trekking in the Western Ghats were trapped in the forest fire. Many of the students suffer from serious injuries. The authorities were admitted to hospitals. The tragedy took place when the students were stepped in hills from Munnar to Thane in Kerala. Forest fires are common in the Western Ghats this season. This is much higher in the mountainous areas of Thane. There are 8 students in Rajani Hospital in Madurai. Air Force said rescue operation was completed in the forest area. 16 juggling commandos went out to save the students. Three more chapters were also used.
