The saffron party, which recorded the victory in the assembly polls, continued his assassination in local elections. In the local bodies election, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won the victory. Fourteenth of the total sixteen urban corporations were successful. Rahul Gandhi's own constituency in Andhra Pradesh has been rushed to the saffron flag. The Bahujan Samaj Party won two seats and the Samajwadi Party and the Congress did not open the original account. The BJP won the Aligarh and Meerut municipal corporations, while the BJP won the Lucknow, Firozabad, Amedi, Allahabad, Ayodhya, Kanpur, Shahnarpur, Ghaziabad, Gorakhpur, Brindavan-Mathura, Raebareli, Moradabad, Jhansi and Varanasi municipal corporations. This victory was won by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said. Yogi also commented that the party, which has been able to defeat the BJP in Gujarat, could not open the account in this election and lost in Amedi. In the 2012 elections, the BJP won 12 municipal corporations. Yogi criticized Opposition SP, BSP and Congress for misusing voters with the name of development and splitting the state. In the two phases, on November 22 and 26, 52.5 per cent voting was recorded in the polling on November 29, 53 per cent. Out of 652 municipalities in UP, 16 urban corporations, 198 municipalities and 438 urban panchayats.
