Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Tamil Nadu on Thursday. On this occasion, he will launch a Defense Expo 2018 in Chennai in Thiruvindadal, Kanchipuram district.
The program will have the theme of 'India: The Emerging Defense Manufacturing Hub' as it focuses on the power of the country as far as the exporting of defense systems and its respective components is concerned. More than 670 Exhibitors, including more than 150 international exhibitors, are participating in this defense expo.

15 percent of the stocks were allocated to MSME sector. The show will include Tata, L & T, Kalyani, Bharat Forge, Mahindra, MKU, DRDO, HAL, BEL, BDL, BEML, MDL, GRSE, GSL, HSL, Mithani, Ayuda Forces and many others. USA, Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Saab of Sweden, France's Eiffel Bass, Rafael, Russia's Rasburnon Exports, United Ships Building, UK's BAE Systems, Sibat of Israel, Wattishila, Germany Many other international companies, including Rhode and Swarj.
The Prime Minister also visits the Cancer Institute at Adiaar in Chennai. The Diamond Jubilee Building in Sriperambadur, the Polytechnic Care Center (Mahavir Ashrai), the Day Care Center at Adair Cancer Institute and the Nursing Quarter.
