Rahul settled for Coronation.

Congress president Rahul Gandhi was finally awarded for his coronation. Prior to the Gujarat elections, the party was ready to hand over the ticket. The decision was taken at the Congress Working Committee (CWG) meeting on Monday to take up the AICC presidential election on December 16.Notification will be issued on December 1 for AICC president. The last date for filing nominations is December 4. Voting will take place on December 16. Counting of votes will be held on 19. If the second nomination is not filed, then December 4 will be declared Rahul as President. Meanwhile, CWG held a unanimous decision to give Rahul the reins.
