THE GST GROSS IS 7.41 LAKH CRORE IN THE FIRST YEAR

In the first year of the introduction of GST, the total amount of Rs 7.41 lakh crore was collected, the central government said. The GST was introduced in the middle of the last financial year and was collected for eight months. GST was introduced in July last year with a total of 17 types of taxes. The gross collection of GST stood at Rs 7.41 lakh crore for the financial year ending March 31, the Finance Ministry said in a statement. In March alone, only Rs 24,000 crore was collected. The average monthly average is Rs 89,000 crore. The gross returns calculated on the third of next month are calculated by the GST.

The GST is calculated on the basis of cash in the financial year. From August last year, the total amount was Rs 7.19 lakh crore. According to the Finance Ministry, Rs 1.19 lakh crore has been paid to CGST, Rs 1.72 lakh crore SGST, Rs 3.66 lakh crore IGST and Rs 62,021 crore. The central and state governments share the income of the GST. This is the center GST and the State GST. Integrated GST, which imposes on goods and imports between the states, will go to the whole city. In addition, they are subject to luxury goods. This census is used to fill the losses in state.
