TEAM INDIA RIGHTS FOR SIX THOUSAND CRORES

Team India Rights for Six thousand crores. Star India has returned to the rights of the matches for the next five years. While Sony and Reliance Geo are fiercely competitive, Star India has bought the media rights of BCCI. For the first time, BCCI has auctioned online. The auction was attended by Sony Sports, Star India, and Reliance. Star India has got Rs 6,138 crores in this auction at the auction. Star India BCCI will pay Rs 6,138.1 crores to broadcast the matches of the Indian cricket team between 2018-23. On average, the BCCI has received Rs.60 crores in the form of media right.

The BCCI's revenue is 59.39 percent higher than the last five years. Star India will have to pay Rs. 3851 crores paid. Star India will host matches from April 15 to March 31, 2014. During this five years, India will play 102 matches, including all the formats. In September last year, Star India received the rights to IPL broadcasting rights. Star India has won a bid of Rs 16,347.5 crore between 2018-22. Star India bid for Rs. 3851 crore for 2012 India matches. Star India has failed 3700 crores bid and lost the broadcast rights in little variation.
