The e-way bills were introduced in all states starting from April 1 this year, as per the GST council decision. From that day onwards, the e-way bill system has come into force for inter-state interconnection in Karnataka. Last Monday, more than 63 lakhs e-bills were successfully implemented, officials said. AP, Gujarat, Kerala, Telangana and Uttar Pradesh will have to implement this bill from 15th January this month Officials estimate that further coordination between the business and the industries is likely to increase as long as the e-way bill system comes into operation, It is hoped that the path will be cleared for a single e-way bill system throughout the country.
