PASSPORT CUT FOR OFFICERS WHO FACE CORRUPTION CHARGES

New Delhi March 29 (way2newstv.in):
The Union government has said that it will no longer issue passports to government officials who face criminal or corruption charges. Civil Services officers must have vigilance clearance to take a passport. The Center brought new regulations not to issue a passport to the Civil Service Officer, if there were cases of corruption against the officers, the trial agencies had their cases, the name of the officer in the charge sheet, the registration of the FIR, the felicitation in the case and the suspension. The passport authorities can observe the FIRs on such officers. The government has said that they can then decide whether they will not be given a passport. Family members of the relevant authorities (for education or other programs) stay  if they are in emergency situations. In such cases, the orders are permitted to go abroad. These orders were sent to all government offices.
